• Some facilities require a brief on-site orientation (usually 1-2 hours)
• You'll receive shift details including start time, location, parking, dress code
• Our support team is available to answer any questions
• You'll get a confirmation text 24 hours before your shift
COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROCESS
Most workers are cleared and ready to work within 5-7 business days from application submission. Background checks typically take 3-5 days, and facility orientations can be completed quickly once you're cleared.
That's okay! Many support roles don't require extensive experience. We look for reliable people with good attitudes who are willing to learn. On-the-job training is provided for most positions.
No. For patient safety and facility security, all workers must pass a complete background check before beginning any shifts.
Yes! One of the benefits of TruShifts is the flexibility to pick up shifts at different facilities. This lets you explore various work environments and build diverse experience.
No. TruShifts offers complete flexibility. Pick up as many or as few shifts as you want. There's no minimum requirement, though consistent workers often get priority access to preferred shifts.
